Albany, Georgia: The Albany Recreation and Parks Department will hold the Lil STARs Instructional Basketball Camp on Saturday mornings from 9:30 am ? 11:30 am, January 19 ? February 9, 2013. The camp is for youth ages 4-8 years old and is free of charge, but participants must fill out a membership application. Basketball fundamentals including shooting, passing, and dribbling will be covered. STAR (Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Attitude, Respect) also emphasizes life skills such as paying attention, following instructions, and self-discipline. The camp will be held at Turner Gym located 2301 George St.
